To realize that the lives of thousands of humans has been negatively impacted so largely, it changed our perspective.

This allowed us to understand that the impact of wildfire is more significant than only environmental damage.

This new realization may be useful in terms of potential improvements to the products. For example, the ML algorithm could be slightly modified for it to be used as surveillance cameras outside houses with the intent of detecting wildfires approaching a building.
